Cole McCue
Assistant Band Director
Cole McCue, originally from Argyle, Texas, is in his first year of being a band director at Lone Star High School and also in the profession. Prior to Lone Star, Mr. McCue attended Argyle High School under the direction of Mr. Jason Bird and Mrs. Kathy Johnson; and obtained his Music Education Degree from Texas A&M University - Commerce under the direction of Mr. Phillip Clements, Mr. Alan Goodwin, and Dr. Ryan Yahl. While at Commerce, Mr. McCue performed in many ensembles including: the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble 1, a soloist with Th e Pride Marching Band, Trombone Octet, Jazz ‘Bones, Nightfall Brass, and many others. In addition to his schooling Mr. McCue marched with the DCI organization Carolina Crown from 2019 to 2022. Mr. McCue currently resides in Mansfield, TX with his fiancée Brittany Laird.
